Find Out Why Chanz is the Best Fit for the 74th Assembly District

Chanz was born and raised in rural Wisconsin, spending much of his childhood at his family’s cabin hunting and fishing. He currently resides with his girlfriend Katie in Grand View.

Chanz began his public service career towards the end of high school, when he began working in municipal utilities. About four years ago, he was hired as the utilities manager for the City of Ashland. In this position, he played a major role in redesigning the city’s wastewater treatment system to prevent leaks and overflows of wastewater from ending up in Lake Superior. Chanz is proud that, since the redesign two years ago, Ashland has not had a wastewater overflow incident. Chanz also served his community for over ten years as a volunteer firefighter.

A little over a year ago, Chanz began his private sector career. He currently owns both the Pioneer Bar in Cable and Ashland Event Rentals. Chanz is looking forward to using his experiences in both public utilities and in the private sector to bring a strong, Northern Wisconsin voice to Madison and represent the entire district.

Chanz is an avid outdoorsman, and in his free time enjoys hunting, fishing, and enjoying all that the beautiful 74th Assembly District has to offer. He is a proud member of both the National Rifle Association and Hunter Nation.
